In 2002, Studio-L ‘Interior Architecture and Retail Design’ was founded by Liane van Leeuwen. In the early years, Liane enjoyed designing interior concepts for luxury fashion stores, opticians and jewellers.
When Liane was asked to create the interior design of a river cruise ship, she — being a skipper’s daughter — wholeheartedly said yes. Having been born and raised on a ship, a love of the water has been with her from the start.
This project gave us appetite for more and one thing led to another. Developing the most modern and luxurious interiors for river cruise ships is now Studio-L’s true expertise. The studio works with a team of professionals, each specialized in their own area. This is being noticed: cruise ships to which Studio-L contributed regularly win awards. Something to be proud of!
